Imphal, June 01 2025: Manipur Home Guard Employees Association convened a special meeting for the home guards at Thoubal Haokha Mani Leikai Community Hall today.

Attended by Y Mangi, president of the Association along with other officials of the 4th Battalion, the meeting adopted several resolutions.

The resolution includes, demanding to allot special welfare packages for the home guards, removing unpaid rank structure, to depute a separate commandant general for home guard, setting promotion guidelines, increasing DA, to increase the strength of home guards to 3,394 personnel.

The meeting also appeals to the home guard personnel of the State to renew their membership by July, 2025 .
