Meritorious students of Class X and XII felicitated

Outstanding students who recently cleared the Class X and XII examinations 2025 were honoured during a felicitation ceremony held at Yairipok Bishnunaha Pukhri Achouba Mapal Community Hall.
The felicitation programme was organised by Bishnunaha Youth Federation Yairipok (BYFY) with Manipur Pradesh Congress Committee president and Wangkhem AC MLA Keisham Meghachandra as the chief guest; Ananda Laishram, president, BYFY as the functional president and Ksh Jadumani, advisor, BYFY; Dr L Robinson, MO in-charge, CHC Yairipok; social worker Keisham Raju; Ksh Roma Devi, president, BYFY Meira Paibi; secretary M Premila Devi and notable persons from the village as the guests of honour.
Citations, mementos and cash awards were handed over to 20 meritorious students who cleared Class XII exam (COHSEM and CBSE) including Arts stream topper from Yairipok Bishnunaha Keisham Hannah of EK Higher Secondary School as well as 24 Class X passed students.
Speaking as the chief guest, MLA K Meghachandra lauded BYFY Club for hosting the felicitation programme to encourage the students.
He urged parents, guardians and the locals to support the high potential youths in their future endeavours.
Separately, the Khumlo Welfare Society also felicitated meritorious students from the clan who cleared the Class X and XII examinations conducted by BOSEM, COHSEM and CBSE this year.
The students were feted during the Hme-Amna Pathakowl Alum 2025 held at Oriental Academy in Chandel.
During the event, 13 students from the clan who secured 1st division in the Class X and XII examinations were felicitated with certificates of merit.
As resource person, Rev Fr James Tangshel, Director, CMC Koirengei, Imphal congratulated the students for their success and informed them about the available fields of educational opportunities available.
He also advised them to choose their subjects wisely as per their desire and take it up seriously.
Afterwards, the students were blessed and prayed for by KI Hantha, Pastor, Baptist Church, Riverlane.
KI Jokendra, Chairman of Khumlo Welfare Society gave the vote of thanks and expressed gratitude to all who had come to congratulate and encourage the students.
Attended by parents of the students, elders of the clan and well-wishers, the event was held with an aim to encourage and support the meritorious students of the clan.
The event ended with a closing prayer by KI Bethung, former Pastor, Beru Unopat Baptist Church followed by light refreshment.
