'Pristine H2O' inaugurated

The inaugural ceremony of "Pristine H2O" packaged drinking water was held today at the hall of SNEHA Cottage, Northern Gate, Manipur University, Imphal.
The ceremony was graced by dignitaries, including Heirok Assembly Constituency MLA, Thokchom Radheshyam Singh; Khwairamband Ima Keithel Joint Co-ordinating Committee for Peace convenor, Laishram Mema Devi and Maibam Lalmani Singh, retired Chief Engineer (NHPC, Loktak Project).
Speaking on the occasion, Th Radheshyam said, "A significant portion of the human body is composed of water.
Water plays a crucial role in various bodily functions, making it indispensable for survival".
"Drinking the recommended amount of clean purified water every day is important not only to rid our body of toxins, but also to maintain our overall health", said the MLA while urging the Government to install RO water purifiers in all the relief camps opened across the State.
Th Radheshyam asserted that in addition to drinking enough water, using a water purifier/filter to remove contaminants from drinking water can help reduce the intake of harmful substances.
Relief Committee Manipur chief organiser Bon Khurai and Capital Electronic proprietor S Chandramani were also present at the event.
