Imphal, January 24 2025: Union Minister of Ports, Shipping and Waterways Sarbananda Sonowal released a book titled "Vedic Imprint in Southeast Asia, with Special Reference to Manipur" at Dibrugarh, Assam, today.

Written by Maheshsana Rajkumar under the banner of EBH Publishers, Guwahati, the book is available at EBH Publishers, Guwahati; Jain Book Store, Thangal Keithel and e-commerce sites Amazon.in and Flipkart.

The book release function was organised by United Tai Ethnic Socio Cultural Organisation (UTESCO) .

Author Maheshsana is the president of International Tai Meitei Kassay Association and the 3rd Tai Ethnic Cultural Festival (January 23-27, 2025) .

On January 26 , the 3rd Tai Ethnic Cultural Festival will be graced by Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma as chief guest.
