Imphal, August 19: Along with formation of a JAC in connection with death of a woman identified as Irom Shantibala last night in a suspicious manner at Kokchai Awang Leikai under Mayang Imphal Police Station, a public meeting held at Kokchai Junior High School ground today has resolved not to take back the body until the all those involved in the case have not been identified and punished.

In connection with the death of Shantibala, the house of one of the alleged accused identified as Hidam Gopal s/o Maipakchao of the same locality had been destroyed by infuriated local people today.

Appointing Thongam Tomba and Ngangbam Deban as president and convenor of the JAC, th public meeting demanded that the accused who is still absconding should be handed over to the JAC within 10 am tomorrow the accused.
