IRCS Senapati continues distributing relief materials to flood victims

Senapati, June 08 2025: Continuing with its second yeoman service, the Indian Red Cross Society Senapati district distributed relief materials to various colonies on Sunday as part of humanitarian services.

Covering upto 350 affected households on the day, the Indian Red Cross Society Senapati district distributed hygiene kits, tarpaulin and mosquito nets to the flood affected victims residing at Angkailongdi, Viewland colony, River colony, Yaopao colony, Council colony.

The distribution was led by Benjamin Tao, Chairman, Indian Red Cross Society Senapati district branch and his esteemed colleagues along with senior functionaries and youth volunteers of the society.

Earlier, the Indian Red Cross Society Senapati district had already distributed the first round distribution of relief materials to temporary shelter homes set up under district administration, Senapati after heavy downpour lashed the district causing to severe flood at various low lying colonies in the district headquarters that had compelled many families to shelter at such centres.
