Jiribam, January 08 2025: Thangjam Misna Chanu, a writer from Yaribond Laishram Khun, Assam now residing in Delhi donated 165 numbers of single blankets to the IDPs of Jiribam Higher Secondary School and Bidyanager Indoor Hall, Jiribam relief camps.

The blankets were bought by Misna Chanu from her royalty share money received from selling her poetry book "Flame of a Distant Mountain" .

The blankets were handed to One Stop Centre, Jiribam, Laishram Loidamtombi and Meira Paibis by Misna Chanu and later distributed to the IDPs of Jiribam Bidyanagar Indoor hall and Jiribam Higher Secondary School relief camps.

Moirangthem Rasheshori Devi and Nongmaithem Sobita, an inmate of the relief camp, expressed gratitude to Thangjam Misna Chanu for donating the blankets to the IDPs and wished success for her future endeavours.
