District Fishery Officer Chandel notifies

Chandel, December 14 2023: The District Fishery Officer (DFO), Chandel has notified that the District Fishery Office, Chandel is implementing various schemes/programmes under PMMSY 2022-23 both in Chandel and Tengnoupal districts.

The notification by DFO Chandel, K Jenishing Tarao further informed that the name of schemes/activities to be implemented in Chandel and Tengnoupal districts are Inputs for Freshwater Finfish Culture, Construction of new rearing ponds, Construction of new grow out ponds, Construction of new ponds, Establishment of small biofloc culture system and Input support for integrated fish farming while construction of kiosk, establishment of medium RAS and construction of backyard ornamental fish rearing unit will be implemented only in Chandel district.

Interested fish farmers/fishers/fish workers who are desirous of availing the scheme and who can fulfil the criteria may apply and the prescribed application forms can be had from the office of the DFO Chandel and the office of the Deputy Commissioner, Tengnoupal by showing Aadhaar card during office hours, added the notification It further informed that the application form will be issued from December 18, 2023 onwards and the last date of form submission will be on December 29, 2023 till 2 pm .
