Imphal, December 26 2024: The College of Agriculture (COA), Central Agricultural University (CAU), Imphal, celebrated its 29th Annual College Week with a Prize Distribution cum Freshers Meet on Monday.

It was graced by Dr Anupam Mishra, Vice Chancellor, CAU, Imphal, and Dr H Chaoba as presium members.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr Anupam Mishra emphasized the collective responsibility of the university in nurturing students into well-rounded individuals.

He welcomed the new students and encouraged them to embrace the learning environment.

Prof N Brajendra Singh, Dean In-charge of COA, highlighted the growing competition in the job market and urged students to explore entrepreneurial opportunities.

Dr H Chaoba stressed on the importance of physical activities alongside academic pursuits for holistic development.

Prof Indira Sarangthem, president of the College Week Organising Committee, lauded the students for showcasing their talents, embracing challenges, and collaborating with each other during the week-long celebrations held from December 16 to 21, 2024 .
