Unlike in previous years, the class X and XII examinations conducted by the National Institute of Open Schooling have been going on smoothly in the State with every possible efforts being made to adhere strictly to the laid down examination norms.
The examination for the students of class X enrolled in 49 NIOS Institutes located in different parts of the State begun on April 6 and that of class XII on April 4 .
To ensure the smooth conduct of the examinations in all the centres located in every districts of the State, OSDs concerned in all the districts have been paying special attention to adherence of the examination norms even as the flying squads set up by the staff of Manipur State Open School and SCERT have been on inspection round of the examination centres to check use of unfair means in writing the examination.
Accompanied by media-persons, a flying squad led by secretary of Manipur State Open School Mangkholam Lhouvum today inspected various examination centres today.
Unlike in the past, the number of outside-supporters around the examination centres was negligible.
The paper of the examination today for class X was Hindi while that of class XII was Physics.
