'Vote for National Regeneration' campaign gains pace

In continuation of its ongoing "Vote for National Regeneration'' campaign, Manipur Youth League (MAYOL) distributed booklets/leaflets and organised public meetings at different places on Sunday.
According to a release issued by MAYOL, the Y outh League organised a public meeting at Sawombung Kabui Khul in collaboration with clubs, organisation, women society and Khullakpa of the village.
It was attended by IPAK president Ksh Somarendro, PANDM general secretary Brojen Meitei, Kabui Union Manipur president Dr Hera Kabui and MAYOL president Ashem Prince as speakers.
MAYOL in association with Lamlong Keithel Phambi Apunba Nupi Lup also conducted a meeting at Lamlong Keithel.
It was attended by DESAM former president Nameirakpam Edison and MAYOL general secretary Laishram James as speakers.
Another meeting was also conducted at the Social Standard Club ground in Khurai Salanthong.
It was participated by LIPUL advisor Puyam Joy, Missing Committee president RK Bidyaluxmi and MAYOL organisation secretary Tongbram Naradaya as speakers.
MAYOL also organised public meetings at The Sun Club, Mongsangei Mayai Leikai, Awang Sekmai Koujeng Leima Community Halla and Khumbong Multipurpose Community Hall.
AMYPCO vice president Asheiba Luwang, MAYOL assistant publicity secretary Konjengbam Samananda, Nameirakpam Edison, advocate Thomchom Suresh and MAYOL advisor Moirangthem Laksam took part in the meetings as speakers.
At the meetings, the gathering resolved to refrain from accepting bribes from political candidates, stop participating in poll festivities including feasts and election rallies/ roadshows, avoid proxy voting, eradicate the trend of using muscle power to induce voters and uphold one's Right to Vote.
Also, members of MAYOL pasted posters and distributed booklets/leaflets to the public at various places such as Sagolband Tera, Sangaiprou, Changangei, Malom Bazar and Nambol Bazar.
