'Healing with Art' painting competition concludes

The "Healing with Art" painting initiative, a six-week-long journey of creativity and emotional healing, came to a meaningful close today.
Organised by the MaolKeki Foundation in collaboration with the IMA Foundation, the programme concluded with a final mentoring session and a heartfelt prize distribution.
As per a release issued by MaolKeki Foundation, the initiative began with a painting competition held on June 1, 2025, which saw the enthusiastic participation of 115 children from three different relief camps.

23 children were selected for a series of four personalized mentoring sessions led by Radha Binod Sharma, founder of IMA Foundation.
Held across four consecutive Sundays, the mentoring sessions aimed not only to nurture artistic skills but also to offer a safe and encouraging space for children to express their feelings and experiences through art.
The programme emphasized the power of creativity as a form of emotional healing and expression.
The final session concluded with a prize distribution ceremony where all 23 children received recognition for their efforts.
Additionally, five outstanding young artists were awarded special prizes sponsored by Camlin, in appreciation of their creativity and dedication.
The "Healing with Art" programme highlighted the role of art in helping children from displaced communities process trauma, build confidence, and reconnect with hope.
MaolKeki Foundation and IMA Foundation have extended their heartfelt gratitude to all the participants, volunteers, mentors, and sponsors who supported this transformative journey.
