TTBR felicitates meritorious students

Thiimziih Teen Bujuur Ruwrkheh (TTBR)/Moyon Naga Students' Union Felicitation 2025, was held at Kurkam village, Chandel district under the theme 'Honouring Scholars, Professionals and Achievers', on Saturday.
The event honoured Moyon students who passed to the Classes X and XII board examinations, as well as PhD awardees and professional graduates.
TTBR launched the Ngamdil Academic Excellence Award, an annual award instituted from this year onwards sponsored by the family of (late) Ngamdil Serbum.
The award, which carries a cash prize and a certificate, is set to be presented each year to the Moyon student who secures the highest marks in the Class X board exams.
The inaugural award was bagged by Ringkumsha Roel Moyon.

Other achievers who were felicitated included Susanna Changrii Roel for securing the highest marks in the Class XII Science stream exam; Kuur-lum Joel Chara for attaining the highest marks in Class XII Arts stream exam and HSE 2025 Anthropology subject topper Abigail Ringthar.
The programme witnessed a strong turnout from students, parents, Moyon village chiefs and members of Bujuur Aanchung Puh (BAP) and the Bujuur Shanuw Ruwrkheh (BSR).
Speaking as chief guest, United College, Lambung principal Dr Solomon Nung-chim urged students to break free from their comfort zones and to walk the extra mile in pursuit of their dreams.
"The legacy of academic excellence among our elders must be continued.
Let this generation rise even higher - there must be no going back," he declared.
Kha Manipur College assistant professor Christopher Nungchim, speaking as guest of honour, appealed to students to respect their vision, and strive for their goals, while reminding them to serve their community after they achieved success.
"Let every decision you make contribute to the future of Moyon," he advised.
TTBR president Fabiola Chinir closed the event with a message of encouragement to the students.
