Imphal, June 05: Since the day the SDC office at Sinakeithei was burnt down by some miscreants, the office has remained closed and defunct, informed a release issued by the Kharao-Kharui-Yairum Naga Students' Association.

As the SDC office is attached to Ukhrul district Hqs, the people of Sinakeithei and surrounding area have not been getting any benefit from the office.

It has now become difficult to obtain SC/ST certificates, domicile and income certificates necessary for admission of students, it said while appealing to the authority to revive the SDC office.
