Imphal, December 26 2024: The "16th Annual Art Exhibition including Photography 2014" organised by Art Society Manipur, kicked off on Thursday at Manipur State Art Gallery, Palace Compound.

The exhibition will be held daily from 1 lam to 4 pm and conclude on December 30 .

The inaugural function was graced by M Joy Singh, Commissioner, Art & Culture, Government of Manipur and Ksh Jugindro Singh, vice president, Arts Society Manipur.

Speaking on the occasion, M Joy expressed joy in seeing the quality of the art works displayed in the exhibition.

He also stressed on the need for organising such exhibitions every year to provide a platform for students to display their talent and express themselves through art.

M Joy Singh maintained that the art exhibition will serve as a prominent platform to promote the budding artists and their artworks.
