BKN observes 34th foundation day

Chandel, June 14 2025: The Bujuur Kaetholik Nongruwr (Moyon Catholic Organisation) celebrated its 3 4th Foundation Day with the inauguration of a new office building at Tungphae (Heigrutampak) Village in Chandel district.

As per a statement, the ceremony held at BKN Head Office, Tungphae today was graced by Rev Fr Avince Anthony, Parish Priest of St Peter's Parish, Monsang Pantha, who performed the inauguration ritual, and Rev Fr Benjamin Kodai Kaje, Parish Priest of St Paul's Parish Liwachangning, who offered a special blessing.

On the occasion, BKN president W John Tharshing expressed gratitude to predecessors, the Tungphae Village Authority for donating land, and donors who contributed to the new office building project.

The ceremony also included the installation of new executives of Bujuur Kaetholik Shanu Ruwr (BKSR) by Rev Fr Avince Anthony.

The event was attended by distinguished guests, including former BKN presidents, BAP officials, catechists, village chiefs, and other dignitaries.

With this new office, Bujuur Kaetholik Nongruwr is poised to expand its reach and continue its mission of spreading God's love and serving the community, added the statement.
