Motivational Talk held at CoA, Iroisemba

With an aim to encourage and motivate the students to think clearly, and move forward in life with a positive outlook, College of Agriculture (CoA), Iroisemba organised a Motivational Talk Series for its students on Saturday.
The programme was graced by KN Raghunandan, Organising Secretary, Vidya Bharati Sansthan, Higher Education, New Delhi; Dr Anupam Mishra, Vice Chancellor, Central Agricultural University (CAU), Imphal; Dr Pawan Tiwari, Zonal Organising Secretary, Vidya Bharati Sansthan, North East, Guwahati and Prof Indira Sarangthem, Dean, CoA, Iroisemba as presidium members.
The motivational talk was delivered by Poojya Shri Ramanuja Das, vice president ISKCON, Manipur and Prof Ramagopal VS Uppaluri, Department of Chemical Engineering, IIT Guwahati.
Delivering the welcome address, Prof Indira Sarangthem emphasized the need to organise motivational talk sessions for students from time to time in order to engage their minds and help them to be on the right track of life to achieve their goals.
Ramanuja Das focused on Science & Spirituality and its importance in life.
He spoke at length on Birth, Death, Old Age and Illness and said that being happy and joyful is a self source of motivation.
Prof Ramagopal talked on Road Map for a successful Life Journey in relation to Science ,and Spirituality.
Quoting Dr TD.Singh's 'The Jewels of Manipur', he spoke about karma and akarma and the different modes of life including goodness, ignorance and passion.
Dr Pawan Tiwari narrated stories from Mahabharata and highlighted the significance of the shlok of Bhagwat Gita in relation to karma and the responsibilities towards the society.
Dr K N Raghunandan stressed on the importance of the art of thinking in a students' life.
He also discussed the role of human beings in this era of artificial intelligence all around the world.
Dr Anupam Mishra elaborated on the role of happiness which is the ultimate goal of any human being.
