Meritorious students of Thoubal and Kakching feted

Thoubal/Kakching, May 25 2025: Uyal Apunba Club, an apex body of five club organisations of Uyal areas namely, UYICL, UOC, UTC, UKYDO and UFSSC organised a felicitation ceremony today at UOC Ground Uyal, Thoubal district to honour the meritorious students ofUyal and Wangbal areas who have secured good marks in the Class X and XII examinations conducted by the BOSEM,COHSEM and CBSE.

The felicitation ceremony was attended by Khangabok AC MLA, Okram Surjakumar as chief guest, Organising chairman, H Dijen as president and Sangaiyumpham Zilla Parishad former member, Md Hibzur Rahman, Wangbal Gram Panchayat former Pradhan, H Manichandra, Manipur Police, retd Sub-Inspector H Ingo, Kakching DC Office, Project Officer S Nabachandra and Wangbal GP, Administrative Committee chairperson, N Somorendro as presidium members.

Ningthoujam Linthoi Chanu of Royal Academy Wangjing who secured 16th position in Science stream, Huidrom Bidyachandra of Xtra Edge School, Ghari who secured 18th position along with 25 students who secured good marks in Class X examination and 15 others who secured good marks in Class XU examination were honour and felicitated with cash prizes, mementos and citation as encouragement for their achievements.

Meanwhile, the Ex-Servicemen Development Organisation, Kakching district has also organised a felicitation ceremony at the auditorium hall of Representative of Lois (RoL), Kakching to honour the meritorious students who have secured good marks in the Class X and Class XII Examination.

At the event, 14 meritorious students who have secured good marks in the Class X and XII examination were honoured with cash prizes and mementos for their achievements.
