MAYOL launches mass awareness campaign

Bishnupur, October 19 2024:
Manipur Youth League (MAYOL) in collaboration with Ningthoukhong Protection Committee (NPC), Ching-Tam Liching Lup (CTLL) and Anti Drugs Campaign (ADC) Bishnupur District launched a mass awareness campaign titled "Eikhoigi Anouba Lang-On Gi Ihou" at Ibudhou Oknarel Laibung today.
Addressing the gathering, Asem Prince, president, MAYOL, said that the campaign was launched to address the issues of drug menace, politics as well as demographic and economic nationalism.
In view of increasing cases of drug abuse among the youth, Asem prince said that MAYOL will combat this grave issue with the support of State CSOs to protect the lives of the youth.
On the occasion, Narendra Ningomba, Chairman, Indian Red Cross Society Manipur; Jogesh Maibam, president, Users Manipur and Dr Kh Sumati, Counsellor, Drugs Treatment Clinic District Hospital Bishnupur imparted valuable lessons and information on the topic "The challenge of drug menace faced by society and the necessary feedback from public".
The event was graced by RK Tombisana, president, Ningthoujam Protection Committee Women's Wing; M Rajen, president, Ching-Tam Liching Lup, notable members of Anti- Drugs Campaign Bishnupur District and students from various schools
in the district.
