Imphal, December 05 2013: Three children of the State�Kharibam Gunichand Devi of Charangpat, Master Ksh Kangleinganba of Tronglaobi Makha Leikai and (L) Master Khahangthei of Tusen Chanhong, Ukhrul have been selected for this year's National Bravery Award.

According to a statement issued by the Manipur State Council for Child Welfare, all of the three children saved the lives of others from drowning.

Master Ksh Kangleinganba, Kharibam Gunichand Devi, and (L) Master Khahangthei

Master Khahangthei, who lost his life while saving two of his friends from drowning, will be conferred the award posthumously.

The award would be presented by the Prime Minister ahead of the Republic Day celebration.

They would also be honoured during the Republic Day parade.
