BJP felicitates 221 new members in Lamsang AC

Imphal, September 12 2021: Education Minister S Rajen has said that BJP Government under Chief Minister N Biren Singh has developed the roads that were left in a sorry state in Lamsang AC during the tenure of the Congress party.

The Education Minister made the statement while welcoming 221 people who recently joined BJP at a programme that was held at Leitong in Lamsang and questioned what developmental works were done by the Congress for Lamsang AC.

Praja High School which was downgraded during Congress tenure has been upgraded to Higher Secondary level, he added.

Developmental works should be carried out in the AC without any consideration towards political differences, he assured.

Speaking at the event, BJP State president A Sarda Devi said works that could not be done by a party in 60 years have been done by the BJP led Central Government within a short period of time.

ILPS was also implemented in Manipur in the interest of the people of the State, she added.

She also appealed to the public to exercise their voting right responsibly in the upcoming election.

Regarding the recent issue wherein the BJP flag was burnt, she said BJP respects all other parties, but it was very unfortunate that some people were crossing the lines by burning the BJP flag.
