Imphal, June 09 2025: The members of School Management Committee and Headmistress of Malom Megha High School today visited Huidrom Amish, a student of the school who has been admitted at RIMS after being hit by a tear gas shell.

Huidrom Amish was at his home at Sega Road Konjeng Hazari Leikai yesterday when a tear gas shell fired by security forces fell and hit him on his right foot.

H Amish is a Class VII student of Malom Megha High School.

At RIMS today, members of the school management committee and Headmistress Ch Damayenti extended monetary assistance towards Amish's treatment.

Headmistress Ch Damayenti said the school condemns firing of tear gas shells in residential areas which hurt innocent school children and civilians.

While dispersing protesters, security forces must refrain from firing mock bombs and tear gas shells in residential areas, she said.

H Amish is a bright student of the school and he has been hurt grievously.

His parents are daily wage earners, and they need the assistance of the well wishers to treat their son, said the Headmistress, appealing for help.
