Imphal, December 26 2024: The Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) Manipur has successfully ensured the inclusion of an examination center in Imphal for the upcoming Central Agricultural University recruitment exams scheduled for January 3 and 4, 2025.According to a release issued by ABVP Manipur, the exams, aimed at recruiting candidates for the posts of Lower Division Clerk (LDC), Upper Division Clerk (UDC), and Field-cum-Laboratory Assistant (FCLA), will now also be conducted at the Imphal center, offering convenience to local candidates.

ABVP state secretary Gautam Philem expressed his gratitude to the Vice-Chancellor of CAU for accepting ABVP's demand to add Imphal as a center for the examination.

He highlighted that this decision reflects the administration's commitment to addressing the needs of students and ensuring greater accessibility.

"ABVP has always stood firmly for students' welfare and rights.

The inclusion of Imphal as an examination center is a significant step in ensuring that students from Manipur do not face unnecessary hardships.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to the Vice-Chancellor and State Government of Manipur for understanding and responding positively to our appeal", said Gautam.

Notably, the move comes after persistent efforts by ABVP Manipur, which has been actively advocating for the inclusion of Imphal as a center for major recruitment and academic examinations.

This victory is part of ABVP's broader mission to address students' issues and make education and employment opportunities more accessible to youth across the State.
