Imphal, February 11: Disapproving the elections of India as Naga national affairs, the Naga National Council has directed the Naga people not to involve in the Indian elections but to stay at home when such alleged proxy election of India is forced in any part of Nagaland.

The statement issued by secretary incharge of NNC L Kaiso has claimed that Nagaland was never and will never be a part of India saying "Naga people rejected the Indian's forced and bogus election in Nagaland and that Nagas have nothing to do with the Indian proxy and bogus election".
