Army recruitment date announced for Manipur and Nagaland

Imphal, April 06: Army recruitment rallies for the State of Manipur and Nagaland will be conducted at Ukhrul from July 19 to 27 and at Makokchung from August 25 to 31 respectively.

There will be vacancies exclusively for Nagas/Kukies and a few vacancies open for general categories.

Application from suitably qualified young males are invited for the post of Havildar Education in the Army Education Corps in Group X and Y to impart education to troops.

Total vacancies for Science stream is 159 and Arts stream is 78.Candidates should not be born before October 6, 1983 and not after October 6 1988 .

Qualification required for candidates is BSc in one of the subjects of Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, Botany, Zoology and Electronics and Computer Science and for BA, the subjects are English, Hindi, urdu, History, Geography, Political Science, Psychology, Mathematics, Sociology and Economics.

Candidates whose height is not less than 157 cms, weight 48 kgs, and chest 77/82 cms with minimum 05 cms chest expanmsion may apply.
