Some of the them would hold the meeting in Imphal instead.
When asked if the issues have not been apprised to the State Government, Tombikanta said that a written request was submitted to the Chief Secretary recently.
"Holding meeting in Imphal during any emergency is understandable but running a newly formed district from Churachandpur is not the right step.
One Bolero vehicle was provided to me by the State Government.
Therefore, we have been hiring vehicles whenever necessary," Tombikanta said.
He also informed the EE (PWD), EE (PHED), ZEO and CMO left the posting place soon after joining work.
