Imphal, May 26 2010: Aimol Tribe Union, Manipur (ATUM) has refuted the report of one Independent candidate of the Autonomous District Council, Chandel and belonging to Aimol community being abducted by unidentified armed persons.

In a statement, ATUM president Athoi Bongte said that the report is baseless as far as his knowledge is concerned.
