Speaking at the event, UMO president M Sorojini called for putting an end to discord amongst ourselves and unitedly face the present crisis, otherwise it will only lead to infighting.
Mentioning that UMO and public will stand by the village volunteers who have been protecting Meetei villages, she stressed that all must take the ongoing conflict as a challenge to the integrity of Manipur and honour of Meetei community and must work together against it.
M Sorojini also lamented that small businesses and private schools in the state have been facing several monetary demands, which she opined will result in regression of the state.
