KCP-MC blames politicians for Manipur violence

Imphal, August 04 2023: The armed KCP-MC (Progressive) said the outfit's 17th Raising Day on August 3 was not be celebrated in view of the unrest situation in Manipur (Kangleipak).

According to a KCP-MC (Progressive) statement, outfit's Standing Committee decided to skip the 17th Raising Day celebration in view of present situation in Manipur (Kangleipak) created by the Government of India.

Placing outfit's view on the present crisis to the people, the KCP-MC (Progressive) statement issued by information and publicity secretary Maheikhomba Meitei said government of India has been waging a drug war on the people of Manipur (Kangleipak) after significant reduction of fake encounter killings and arrest due to advancement of social media, which highlights truth of an event within a minute throughout the world.

The drug war being waged is called narco-terrorism but the Meetei community must understand that Kuki community alone are not the sole narco-terrorist.

The real meaning of Narco-Terrorist is drug business by political bosses and it is questionable if political bosses of Meetei, Meetei Pangal and Naga communities apart from Kuki community are indulging in drug business.

There is also possibility of political bosses from Israel and Myanmar feasting on the drug business in Manipur (Kangleipak) but those at the helm of affairs in the name of Narco-Terrorist could not speak out courageously.

If they do so, scores of political bosses will have their political career end abruptly and embarrassingly.

Accordingly, political bosses are trying to divert the ongoing war between Kukis and Meeteis which started after the former attacked the latter.

Attempt to assign all unclaimed bodies of Kukis killed in the ongoing war as Burmese Kukis and preparations being made for burial of Kuki victims at Torbung are path being chalked out by political bosses to divert the ongoing war, the KCP-MC (Progressive) said.

The KCP-MC statement further said that continuing attack on Meetei people by the Kukis and siding of Indian security forces with guilty Kuki community and SoO terrorist groups in their continuing attacks on Meetei people in foothills clearly indicate involvement of political bosses of India government in drug business in a big way.
