Senapati, August 07 2023: Naga People's Organization (NPO), Senapati has appealed to all citizens of Senapati district to participate at the proposed mass rally scheduled for August 9 .

The rally is stated to register a collective sentiment to the Government of India for exercising political will to hammer out an early negotiated solution to the protracted Indo-Naga political issue in the spirit of the Framework Agreement.

A press release issued by the Information and Publicity Wing of the NPO said that the NPO under the aegis of United Naga Council (UNC) will be organizing a public rally on August 9, 2023 on the impending issue of Indo-Naga Peace resolution based on the 'Framework- Agreement' .

In view of the above, the organization appealed to the general public to pro-actively participate in the said rally to assert their rights.
