Ekta Parishad representatives, others call on Governor

Imphal, March 03 2024: Representatives of Ekta Parishad, Manipur along with a folk singers team from Indore, Madhya Pradesh called on the Governor Anusuiya Uikey at Raj Bhavan this evening and apprised her about the activities taken up by the Parishad in Imphal.

According to a release issued by PRO Raj Bhavan, the team which included folk singer Arun Goyal, highlighted the initiative taken up by them to spread the message of peace, love and idea of non-violence through folk songs.

They also shared their plans to visit 12 relief camps in five districts till March 8, 2024 .

The Governor appreciated their efforts in bringing back peace by spreading the message of peace & love, and exhorted them to continue their endeavour in the interest of the people of Manipur.

A team of women officers and staff of All India Radio, Imphal also called on the Governor at Raj Bhavan today.
