Imphal, June 20 2015 : A two-day workshop on cybercrime jointly organised by High Court of Manipur and Manipur State Legal Services Authority at the auditorium of High Court of Manipur began today.

The inaugural session of the workshop was attended by Judge of HCM, Justice Kh Nobin Singh and former Judge of Gauhati HC, Justice Maibam Binoy Kumar as the chief guest and president respectively.

Judicial officers, advocates, police officers and other stakeholders attended the programme.

As the resource persons, Sourav Mitra, engineer of Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (CDAC), Kolkata and Dr Anirban Majumdar, professor at National University of Juridical Sciences (NUJS), Kolkata delivered insightful and illuminating talks on different topics.

Justice Kh Nobin Singh stressed the need to spread awareness among all sections of the society about the rising cybercrime.
