Bank of Baroda provides aid to relief camp

In a collaborative effort to provide aid to the conflict survivors taking refuge at Rice Research Centre Wangbal-Khangabok relief camp, Bank of Baroda (BOB) Imphal Branch, Manipur University Branch and RIMS Branch distributed clothes and study materials today.
The noble initiative was taken up as a part of Bank of Baroda's "Baroda Anubhuti Programme" on the theme "Commemorating Our Bank Community Service Activity" .
The distribution programme was also attended by Deputy Inspector General (Range II) Jogeshchandra Haobijam; BOB RIMS Branch Senior Branch Manager Nejolata Haobijam, Imphal Branch Senior Branch Manager Chongtham Khogendro Singh and MU Branch Senior Branch Manager Laishram Ratan Singh.

Apart from distributing clothes and study materials, a lunch was hosted for the conflict survivors in the relief camp which is managed by the Khangabok Relief Committee.
Speaking about the initiative, Nejolata Haobijam said that three branches of BOB resolved to extend support to the conflict victims who have been adversely affected by the communal strife since May 3 last year as a part of Bank of Baroda's community service.
