Schedule for AMFA executive council election released

The schedule of election process of the election of AMFA executive council which will be held on July 30 this year, has been released in a notification made by the Returning Officer (RO) to the said election, T Ratakumar Singh.
As per the notification, the nomination paper will be issued on July 24 from 1 am to 3 pm and the submission of nomination paper (in sealed cover) is on July 25 from 1 am to 3 pm.
The scrutiny of nomination papers will be conducted from 11 am to 2 pm the next day and the valid list of nomination papers filled by the intending candidates will be published at 4 pm, the notification said.
Candidates can withdraw their nomination paper from 11 am to 1 pm of July 27 and the final lists of candidates will be published at 2 pm, it added.
The election will be held on July 30 from 10 to 1 pm at SR Act Section, RCS Office, Lamphelpat and the counting of the votes will be done the same day.
An election office is opened at the office of the Registrar of Societies (Legal Section) under the care of the RO.
All concerned may contact the RO and ARO for detail information.
The notification also informed all the members of the AMFA that the verification for scrutiny and the voting for the executive council will be based on the voter list verified by the Cooperative Department and any Govt issued identity card shall identify themselves.
The proposer and the seconder should be from the voter's list as produced by the Cooperative Department, it continued.
