36th Men's State Polo Th Kaoba scores ten as CHPC-A demolish AR Polo team 15-1

CHPC-A, MPSC-B clinched emphatic victories today to cruise into the last 8 stage of the 36th Men's State Level Polo Tournament at Mapal Kangjeibung.
The day also saw Paradise Polo Club ease to the last 16 round ousting ESC-C by 9-3 goals riding on Laishram Akash's 5 goals feat.
Laishram Akash kicked off the game on a bright note by scoring thrice to hand Paradise PC a comfortable 3-0 lead till the first chukker.

N Babaloo of ESC-C pulled back a goal 4.10 minutes into the second chukker but Akash collected his fourth goal of the day within few seconds before M Anand grabbed his solitary goal and made it 5-1 in Paradise PC's favour.
K Samananda then extended the Paradise PC's lead to 7-1 with a fine effort in the 3rd minute of the third chukker which also saw K Premkumar bag ESC-C's second goal to make it 2-6 .
Kh Naocha of ESC-C then clinched the team's third and the last in the 2nd minute of the last chukker before Paradise PC's K Samananda, L Akash and N Philip took their turns to score a goal apiece and wrap up the game 9-3 .
In a second round clash of the day staged latter, CHPC-A rode on Th Kaoba's brilliance to run riot and send AR Polo team packing with a 15-1 humiliation.
Th Kaoba scored three goals each in the first and the third chukker while he managed 2 goal each in the second and the last chukker to complete his haul of 10 goals in CHPC-A's 15-1 win.
Leishemba T also made his mark by scoring twice in the first chukker handing CHPC-A a 5-0 lead and managed a single in the second chukker to make it 8-0 till halfway.
K Basanta also scored a goal each in the third and the last chukker to ensure CHPC-A a landslide win as AR Polo team were in their worst form.
AR Polo team however managed a face saving goal through Kh Chandrakumar in the last chukker.
Meanwhile in another second round clash, MPSC-B knocked Kangleipak Polo Star (KPS) out of the tournament with a 9-1 thrashing.
MPSC-B were slow off their blocks and took a slender 1-0 lead till the first chukker thanks to O Suresh goal in the 5th minute before flourishing gradually in the following chukkers.
MPSC-B's Th Pradeepkumar and H Abung Khuman then scored a goal each to make it 3-0 till the end of the second chukker as KPS were hardly seen in contest.
Th Romen then had his say with two back to back goals within 3 minutes of the third chukker to extend the lead to 5-0 as KPS were struggling to lay their mallets on the ball.
KPS however grabbed a goal in the 6th minute through Momocha before Kh Nongpoknganba added another goal to MPSC-B's tally.
MPSC-B which were in cruise control of the game then fetched three goals via O Suresh, H Abung Khuman and Kh Nongpoknganba to complete the 9-1 annihilation.
