Defending champions Bachelor's Youth Welfare Association (seniors) moved into the super six league stage of the Pongal Cricket Tournament with an emphatic 161 run victory over Moreh Sky Cricket Team (MSCT) at SRYC ground, Moreh today.
Opting to bat first on winning the toss in the crucial group A league clash, BYWA (senior) piled a mammoth 266 for six wickets in the allotted 30 over match with Ravikrishnan scoring a destructive 72 runs in 33 balls.
Vinay also contributed 36 runs in the BYWA score tally.
In reply, MSCT skipper MS Parthiban waged a lone battle to score 31 runs in the team total of 105 runs in 25 overs.
Ibobi was the chief architect in the MSCT downfall claiming five wickets conceeding 26 runs.
He also contributed 19 runs to the team total.
