1st Heibok T-20 Cricket Tournament REYS reach final with dominating 9-wicket victory over PTRC

REYS, Nagamapal today rode on Sanjoy, Nickey and Robertson in the first semi final match of the ongoing 1st Heibok T-20 Cricket Tournament, to outshine PTRC, Patsoi by an overwhelming 9-wicket victory at Langthabal Public Ground.
The tournament is being organised by Langthabal Sporting Club under the aegis of Manipur Cricket Association.
Sanjoy enjoyed a three-wicket haul in the first innings to give his team a place in the final while Nickey and Robertson claimed two wickets each.
PTRC who won the toss and chose to bat first exhibited one of the worst batting performances today as not a single batsmen could hit a double digit score.
Nikole who walked on the crease as opener struck 7 runs facing 19 balls while Bidash made 5 runs facing 8 balls.
Sourav who scored 9 runs in 11 balls was the best scorer of PTRC who slumped to a paltry 43 runs total for all wickets down in 14.1 overs.
Nicky, maintained a perfect economy offering 8 runs in 3 overs.
The chase was too easy for REYS as they reached the target in just 7.4 overs for the loss of one wicket.
Jayenta scored 22 runs in 22 balls while Mintu made 19 runs off 20 balls to give their team a convincing 9 wicket victory.
The single wicket in the second inning was claimed by Bidas.
Sanjoy of REYS was declared man of the first semi final match.
TRAU, Kwakeithel will face CYCLONE, Thangmeiband in the second semi final match tomorrow at the same ground.
