YPO beats host lifts champion's trophy of 1st JA Football tourney

YPO, Sora today defeated host Juvenile Association (JA) in the final match and lifted the champion's trophy of the 1st JA District Level Football Championships today organised by Juvenile Association (JA), Kakching.
The match was an equally contested match between the two teams with the players trying to dominate over one another in the race of the trophy.
Kh Messenger of host JA drew the first blood in the 6th minute of the match.
It was soon equalised by Ali Khan of YPO in the 7th minute.
In the 11th minute JA took the lead again with a goal of Bomben.
The first half concluded 2-1 in favour of of host JA.

YPO players did not lost heart and played the match confidently in the second half with an aim to square back the game.
As a result, YPO equalised the score in the 64th minute of the match.
The match concluded in a 2-2 draw as no players could scored any further goal till the end of the match.
In the penalty shoot out, YPO hit the mark twice against one successful shot of host JA and lifted the trophy.
The trophy for Fair Play went to SWSC, Kakching Mayai Leikai.
Ali Khan of YPO, Sora was declared Best scorer and the title for Best Player was adjusted to Koshen of JA.
Mujanim of YPO, Sora bagged the titles of Best Goalkeeper and Man of the Final Match.
Vice Chairperson, Kakching Municipal Council, M Brojen and Councillor Ward No 11, Ksh Subadani graced the closing function as Chief Guest and Guest of Honour respectively.
President of Juvenile Association, Y Nilachandra and Vice President Ksh Ibobi graced the function as presidum members.
SDO, Kakching, A Subhash and Social Worker, Y Satya also attended the function as Special Guest.
