Stage set for U-17 Boys semi-finals at IW Subroto Mukerjee Football

The semi-final line up of the U-17 boys competition of the ongoing District Level Subroto Mukerjee Football Tournament organised by DYASO, Imphal West at Football Turf Ground Khuman Lampak completed today with the conclusion of quarter final stage today.
The first quarter final match of the competition witnessed Little Master English Hr Secondary School ease into semis with a slender 1-0 win against Nilamani English School thanks to Nitish's 59th minute goal.
Meanwhile the second match was a one sided affair as Integrated Manipur Academy came out all guns blazing to notch up an emphatic 9-0 win against New Light Public School and set up semi-final clash with Nilamani ES tomorrow at 2.30 pm.

Integrated Manipur Academy opened up the account not through his players but through New Light Public School's Dhanajit who conceded own goal twice in the 2nd and the 5th minute.
Th Rustam of Integrated Manipur Academy was the most successful scorer of the game as he completed a treble (7', 18', 28') .
Prabhananda (48'), L Kheljit (52'), Th Priyabon (55') and Michael Lunmilal (56') added a goal each to Integrated Manipur Academy's tally to set up the huge win.
Meanwhile in the third quarter final match of the tournament, Iboton Memorial School edged out CT Higher Secondary School by 4-2 goals on penalties after goalless draw during regulation time.
Th Atao Rahaman, Sh Arun, MM Alikhan and L Swami scored in the shoot-out for Iboton MS while only E Santosh and S Lemba managed to find the target for the losing team.
The last quarter final match of the competition saw Holy Kingdom School snatch the semi-final berth with a 4-3 sudden death win against Little Angels School as the score remained 3-3 at the end of penalty shoot-out after a goalless draw during normal time.
Sen, Shitaljit and Jetli scored during the shoot out for the winning side before Kamal struck the winning goal in the sudden death while Wangamni R Shimrey, PR Thanreingam and Hongreiwung scored for Little Angels School.
Holy Kingdom will take on Iboton Memorial School in the second semi-final.
