11th Manipur State League : KLASA, YPHU register wins

KLASAs N Sushilkumar last gasp goal earned full points to the team against TRUGPU today in the ongoing 11th Manipur State League at Artificial Turf ground, Khuman Lampak.
In the keenly contested match between KLASA, Keinou and TRUGPU, Nambol, none could succeed in making any breakthrough in the normal time.
KLASA dominated possession in the first half.
Although they got several opportunities, they could not ensure accurate finishing.
Both sides bounced back reinvigorated.
TRUGPU upped the ante and sent more men in the attacking.
But they wasted many chances at their opponents' goal mouth.
N Sushilkumar lost no time in netting a ball that went past TRUGPU custodian off a last ditch attempt from A Nanao in the dying embers of the three minutes additional time.
The last gasp goal eventually earned full points to the team thus taking the team a tad farther from the relegation zone.
With the lose today TRUGPU are laying at the bottom of the league table.
In another encounter, YPHU, Lalambung eased to a 2-0 win over SSU, Singjamei.
YPHU started the match on an impressive note, exhibiting perfect team combination.
SSU's weaknesses were exposed several times.
However, none could break the deadlock in the first half.

It was S Jameson of YPHU who broke the deadlock in the 63rd minute as he slammed home a superb one through a pass from Ng Arnold.
M Boy Sharma sealed the victory of YPHU as he scored one in the 80th minute.
SSU struggled hard to find the equalisers.
But their efforts went fruitless.
After seven matches, YPHU are now a point ahead of SSU � who played six matches, in the league table.
