6th Hockey India Sub-Junior Men's National Championship HUT, CHA, HMP, BHA register wins

Hockey Uttarakhand (HUT), Chattisgarh Hockey (CHA), Hockey Madhya Pradesh (HMP), and Bengal Hockey Association (BHA) registered wins in the ongoing 6th Hockey India Sub-Junior Men's National Championship (B-Division), organised by Manipur Hockey under the aegis of Hockey India at Hockey Ground, Khuman Lampak.
In today's Group-A opening match, Hockey Uttarakhand (HUT) were declared the winner of the match by a score of 5-0 after their opponent Goans Hockey (GOA) failed to turn up.
In another Group-A match, Chattisgarh Hockey (CHA), won comfortably against Kerala Hockey (KER) by a marging of 6-1.

Tarun Yadav (15th, 25th) and Piyush Sahu (27th and 33rd) scored a brace each for CHA.
Anand Yadav and Sonu Nishad also scored a goal each for CHA in the 11th and 69th minute respectively.
The lone goal for KER was scored by Dilan Mathai in the 51st minute through a penalty stroke.
In a Group-B match, Hockey Madhya Pradesh (HMP) outclassed Vidarbha Hockey Association (VHA) by a margin of 6 goals to 2.The winning goals of HMP were scored by Vasid Ali (5th), Risabh Nath Tripathi (11th, 56th, 61st), Arun Patel (64), and Aditya Chhatri (65th).Faraz Jadir (18th) and Abid Sheikh (19th) scored for VHA.
In another Group-B match, Bengal Hockey Association (BHA) registered a convincing 6-1 win over Hockey Gujarat (GUJ).
A double from each from Suraj Yadav (16th, 33rd) and Rajish Mondal (50th, 65th) and a goal each for Milan Saha and Rahul Dev Shaw in the 63rd and 68th minute gave the six winning goals to BHA while Shyamprakash Yadav scored the solitary goal for GUJ in the 52nd minute through a well taken penalty corner.
