National Track Cycling Championship : State cyclists amass 10 more medals on Day 3

Manipur cycling team continued to excel in most of the events to collect 8 gold, 3 silver and 3 bronze medals at end of Day 3 in the 71st Senior, 48th Junior and 34th Sub-Junior National Track Cycling Championship 2019 which began on January 30 in Jaipur, Rajasthan under the aegis of Cycling Federation of India.
Kh Pere completed the youth girl's 200m flying time trial in just 14.503 sec to win her second gold at the championship.
Y Birjit got a gold medal in the youth boys 200 m individual pursuit by completing the course in 2:37:331 sec.
In the junior men team sprint, State's riders K James, Y Ranjit and Ronaldo Laitonjam set a National record by completing the course in 1:04:978 sec to win another gold for the State.
E Lanchenba also won a gold in U-16 Boys 2000m individual pursuit by completing the course in 2:30:137 sec while Y Bishal Singh secured a silver in youth boys 2000m individual pursuit event with a time of 2:45:994 sec.
Y Birjit, M Somorjit and Kh Rahul finished second in the U-16 boys team sprint event as they completed the course in 1:10:561 sec.
In the youth boys 2000m flying time trial, Y Birjit got a silver with a time of 12.870 sec; N Bishwarani Chanu ended in bronze in the U-16 girls 2000m individual pursuit by completing the course in 2:59:916 sec.
I Matouleibi Devi clinched another gold for the State in elite women 10 Km scratch race by finishing the course in just 16:47:689 while E Lanchenba procured silver in the junior men 10 Km scratch race as he rode the track in 14: 39:296.Y Birjit took gold in the youth boys 500 m individual time trial by riding the track in 36:899 sec while Kh Pere Devi win another gold in the youth girls 500 m individual time trail by completing the course in 41:377 sec.
