KIPC bans drugs & alcohol

Kakching, January 24 2023:
Kekru Ideal Progressive Committee (KIPC) has banned sale and consumption of drugs and liquor in and around the sacred site of Nongpok Tarang Saraba/Nongpok Ningthou Chingu Panganba (also known as Gwarok Mahadeva among the Hindus) at Gwarok Hill, Yairipok Kekru on the day of the annual worshipping day, which falls on Jariuaiy 26 .
In a statement, KIPC informed that vehicles coining from Kekru- Khoirom side shall park near Ishingkhong and from Pechi village side near Pechi Moirang area.
Visitors shall approach the site on foot from the parking lots, it added.
