Imphal, September 22:
As part of the first phase of 'Mission Green Earth' taken up by the Art of Living Foundation and United Nations Millennium campaign, volunteers of the Art of LIving and doctors and employees of JN Hospital planted tree saplings today.
A statement said that Mission Green Earth has set a target of planting 100 million trees in different parts of the world and added that the mission will continue till October 16 with a pledge taking action on either October 17, 18 or 19 to wind it up.
The State Forest Department has also extended its help in procuring the tree saplings.
