Decrying the denial of entry to M/S Golden Valley Travel (GVT) Services by the Airport Authority of India, Imphal Airport, the GVT Services has accused the M/S Deccan Aviation Limited of adopting discriminatory attitude towards GVT Services.
A press release issued by GVT Services further decried AAI's act of prohibiting entry to its (GVT Services) bonafide employees having valid passes.
It also accused the AAI of directing the CISF to confiscate entry passes from its employees without any prior notice.
Calling upon the public of Manipur to boycott Deccan Airlines as well as Kingfisher Airlines for their alleged discriminatory policies towards North East region, particular Manipur State, it conveyed that the GVT Services is filing a case against the Airport Authority of India, Imphal Airport at Manipur Human Rights Commission in association with NGOs and human rights bodies for the alleged biased treatment meted out to its employees.
Another set of complaint is being forwarded to Civil Aviation Ministry, Government of India, the State Government and the AAI Headquarters, New Delhi, it conveyed adding that GVT Services has contract agreement with Deccan Aviation Ltd till Feb 2012 .
