Teachers urge CS over delay in pay

Imphal, June 14 2012:
Alleging non-disbursement of two months salaries of ADC teachers of Tamenglong despite the amount being sanctioned by the Tribal Affairs and Hills department, the ADC Teachers' Association, Tamenglong has urged the Chief Secretary to look into the matter.
In a representation submitted to the CS, the ADCTAT hashighlighted the grievances faced by the employees due to non-disbursement of the two months salaries, March and April.
It further warned of launching agitation against the Government if the authority fails to release the sanctioned salaries immediately.
