Imphal, May 05:
A rare Forest Eagle Owl rescued by one Ningthoujam Nabadwip (20) from his Ningthoukhong Kha Khunou locality on April 28 has been handed over to Manipur Zoological Garden authorities by the YAS, PHE and Tourism Minister Govindas Konthoujam today.
The owl weighs 2.50 kgs and is informed to be the second of its kind to be sheltered at the zoo, said Dr Laishram Sharat, the zoo official who took custody to the bird species.
