Imphal, June 15 2021:
Shops in Phailenthang Bazar in Chhotobekra which is located in the border of Jiribam and Pherzawl districts were looted in broad daylight today by some suspected ULTA members which is currently under SoO.
Around 6 persons who spoke in Kuki dialect came in a vehicle and took money from the shopkeepers of Phailenthang Bazar, as per the information received from the place.
The persons were armed with AK 47 and M-16 guns and demanded money from the shopkeepers stating that they do not have any money for food.
However the shopkeepers informed that the perpetrators did not assault anyone physically.
