Kangpokpi, January 08 2016 :
After the tribal market complex at Saikul was severely damaged by the earthquake, the Kuki Inpi Saikul Gamkai (KISG) today said that the Manipur Development Society (MDS) should be held responsible and reconstruct the market complex at the earliest.
Speaking to media persons, KISG president Thangam Lupheng said that the market complex was constructed by Manipur Development Society and dedicated to the public barely a year ago.
"In the event of the earthquake, the market complex which was constructed at a cost of Rs 4 crore had crumbled.
This is due to the poor quality control during the construction process by the MDS," he said.
