15 students test positive in CCpur

CCpur, November 11 2021: After witnessing a drastic decline in the number of COVID-19 cases from August 2021 and reopening of almost all the schools in the district, 18 people tested positive for COVID-19 in Churachandpur district on Wednesday.

Out of the 18 positive cases, 15 are girls and two are boy students of Angels Place (orphanage) at Bungmual.

Another one is from Thingkangphai and is reportedly a student of a private school, according to sources.

The 15 girls and two boys tested positive after undergoing RAT tests while the other one was found positive on TrueNat, added the sources.

According to the authorities concerned, the COVID positive students have been properly isolated and their conditions are not serious.
